Nyack edges Spartans, 57-55 in front of Raucous Home Opener Crowd
Men's Basketball

The game was tight throughout as neither team could manage to pull away from the other and the outcome was not certain until the final seconds as Nyack held on for the victory. The Warriors were led by forward Brandon Corbell (Sr., Middletown, NY) with 13 points and guard Jose Lopez (Jr., Patchogue, NY), with 12 points, including 2-4 from behind the arc. Though the Warriors shot only 37% from the floor they were 45% from behind the 3-point line and 77% from the charity stripe, which helped to seal the win.
