Directions to Nyack, NY
From Connecticut:
+ Take 84W to 684S to 87W (or 287W) to the Tappan-Zee Bridge.
+ Follow directions "From the Tappan-Zee Bridge," below.
From the Tappan-Zee Bridge:
+ Take Interstate 87N/287W to Exit 11
+ At the end of the ramp continue straight until you come to a traffic light
+ At the light, turn left onto Route 9W north
+ Follow 9W north for approximately 7/10 mile. You will pass Nyack Hospital on your right. You will see "Temple Beth Torah" on your left.
+ Travel another 1/10 mile to the ATS driveway, also on the left. A large low stone sign says "Alliance Theological Seminary."
+ Follow the driveway to the parking lot.
From Upstate New York:
+ Take Interstate 87S/287E to Exit 11.
+ At the end of the ramp you will come to a traffic light.
+ At the light, turn left onto Route 59 east. Go ½ mile to a traffic light and turn left onto Route 9W north.
+ Follow 9W north for approximately 7/10 mile. You will pass Nyack Hospital on your right. You will see "Temple Beth Torah" on your left.
+ Travel another 1/10 mile to the ATS driveway, also on the left. A large low stone sign says "Alliance Theological Seminary."
+ Follow the driveway to the parking lot..
From the George Washington Bridge:
+ Take the Palisades Interstate Parkway north to Exit 9E (Interstate 87S/287E)
+ Follow the directions "From Upstate New York," above.
From the Garden State Parkway:
· Take the Garden State Parkway north to the end where it splits into Interstate 87N/287W and 87S/287E. Stay to the right as you exit.
· Right after the split, get into the left lane and follow the signs for 87S/287E toward New York City.
· Follow the direction "From Upstate New York," above.
From Southern New Jersey or Staten Island
+ Take the New Jersey Turnpike North (95) – stay in local lanes.
+ Exit at Fort Lee (the exit just before GWB)
+ Turn Left at street and proceed about ¾ of a mile; follow signs for Palisades Interstate Parkway North.
+ Take Palisades Interstate Parkway North to Exit 9E (87/287 – Tappan Zee Bridge or NYC)
+ Go to Exit 11 (Nyack)
+ As you get off exit, turn left on Route 59 and go ½ mile to traffic light.
+ At the light, turn left onto Route 9W north and follow directions to the school in italics above.
Public Transportation:
* From the George Washington Bridge bus station take Red & Tan bus line (West Shore Express Bus Service), bus Commuter C9W, the bus will come into Nyack. Alert the driver of your need where to get off near Alliance Theological Seminary past Nyack Hospital at Christian Herald Road/Old Mountain Road. At the light on 9W you then take a short walk (3/10 mile) south to the seminary.
* From 41st Street Port Authority West Shore Express Bus Service. Same as from GWB.
* From ManhattanMetro North Train service going into Tarrytown; from Tarrytown take a TOR bus across the Tappan-Zee Bridge into Nyack. Metro North Train service also goes into Spring Valley and the 91 bus goes down Route 59. (Alert the driver of your need to get off near Alliance Theological Seminary.)
