Pastoral Ministries Program | ATS Chinese Program FAQ Q1: What is the Chinese Studies Program? The program is a uniquely-focused
ministry track at ATS, designed to prepare God's servants within the
context of Chinese Churches.
Q2: Why is the program also called Chinese Bi-cultural and Pastoral Ministries Program? Chinese Bi-cultural and Pastoral
Ministries Program is the full name of the program, as for convenience
it is also called the Chinese Studies Program.
Q3: Are courses taught in Chinese? All courses including the general
requirement and concentration courses are taught in English. Only
exception is the Chinese Preaching Seminar, it is taught in Chinese.
Q4: What is the admission procedure for the Chinese Studies Program? The admission procedure is through the
Office of Admissions at ATS campus. For M.Div degree in Chinese
Studies, application forms should be submitted to the Office of
Admissions at Rockland Campus. For M.P.S degree in Chinese Studies,
application forms should be submitted to the Office of Admissions at
Manhattan Campus. Download Admission information.
Q5: What is the distinctness of the Chinese Studies Program? i.) The program provides practical
ministry and learning experiences through our close relationship with
Chinese Churches throughout North America and the Greater New York City
area.
ii.) One-to-one mentoring relationship for all full time M.Div. students with an experienced pastor. iii.) Chinese Research Center: it contains over 2 thousand copies of Chinese reference books and journals. |
