Alliance Theological Seminary is located in a small suburban community overlooking the historic and picturesque Hudson River Valley. Just 25 miles north of New York City, ATS is the only accredited evangelical seminary between Boston and Philadelphia. It serves North America's largest urban population of over 22 million people, and is uniquely qualified to train students with an awareness of the worldwide trend toward urbanization and cultural plurality.
Cultural Opportunities
Major league teams such as the Yankees and Mets, Giants and Jets , Knicks, Nets and Liberty, Rangers, Islanders, and Devils,and Metro Stars soccer abound in the area. Places of interest near NYC and the Hudson Valley include the Vanderbilt Mansion, Sleepy Hollow, West Point, the Bronx Zoo, NY Botanical Gardens, Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, and other sites. ATS is close to state parks such as Bear Mountain, Tallman, Hook Mountain and Rockland Lake.
