![]() Hi there. My name is Courtney Roberts, and I am a senior at Nyack College majoring in Cross-Cultural Studies. My time at Nyack has been nothing short of life-changing thus far. Perhaps one of the most significant developments in my life over the past three years has been the birth and growth of a passionate love for God's children in Africa. It all started with a three week trip to Swaziland, Africa with some fellow Nyack students the summer after my freshman year. Since then, I have been back to Africa three times (Swaziland, South Africa, and Uganda) and by the end of this summer I will have spent almost 8 months out of the past three years in Africa. I have been able to take what I learn in my classes here and apply it to life and ministry in Africa. I believe that it's in that place of putting knowledge into action that true learning takes place. It has been a wonderful adventure, and it only gets more exciting as time goes on. I am looking forward to sharing with you a little glimpse of this adventure here on the blog. My hope is that you will be inspired and challenged as you see how God is working in Africa, as well as in my life personally.
