| Non-Matriculated and Visiting Students (NYC) SEE YOUR FUTURE... make the connection...
Nyack College Manhattan Center (NCMC) offers a liberal arts education with 16 majors, minors and many concentrations. NCMC students value the close community that Nyack offers; classes small enough to promote a better learning experience, and a place where you know that the faculty cares. Since New York City is our campus, making
solid “connections” here will be an integral part of your experience.
If you are ready to make Nyack College Manhattan Center your next
connection, now is the time to go through the admissions process. If
you are as committed as most of our students, you want to make a wise
decision by first checking out your financial aid possibilities.
Financial aid programs help you by paying close attention to your
needs, your qualifications for scholarships and post-graduate plans. We
know it is not easy making ends meet in this city, so NCMC will help
you creatively design a financial aid package that works for you. This
financial aid package is determined by many things: your academic
achievement, leadership abilities, performance, excellence and your
family’s financial contribution. Through a combination of scholarships,
grants, and loans, an education at Nyack College Manhattan Center is an
affordable one. In fact, more than 90% of our students receive some
form of financial aid. In addition, Nyack itself
offers thousands of dollars in aid each year. Called the Nyack Awards,
many students have benefited from one of these grants which range from
$500 to $5,000 per year. Applying as a NON-MATRICULATED or a VISITING student,
you will not be registered for a program leading to a degree at Nyack
College. Students who have not completed a high school degree may be
accepted as non-matriculated part-time students. Such students may not
be certified for certain forms of financial aid and scholarships and
must be reviewed by the Admissions Office prior to being admitted to a
degree program. Students accepted on a non-matriculated status may
enroll for up to a maximum of 24 credits under that status. Course work
taken as a non-matriculant may not be applicable to certain majors if
matriculated status is desired at a later time. So are you ready to sign on the dotted line? It is really that easy. In addition to demonstrating a personal faith in Jesus Christ, college-level academic ability and agreement with Nyack’s mission and standards of faith and conduct, you should submit (detailed procedures and forms are included below on this page):
